German court dismisses Apple / Samsung case

One down, a hundred more to go.

In the “Apple is going to rule the world” department today, a German court dismissed two lawsuits between Apple and Samsung. The first case was filed by Apple against Samsung regarding their ‘slide to unlock’ feature, while the other case filed by Samsung was over 3G/UMTS functionality according to Reuters.

But Samsung are not that quick to back away, and announced that they were not pleased with the court’s decision – expect a lawsuit to crop up about this (I’m being serious).

While Apple has historically tried to undermine Samsung’s products including a sales ban on the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung is not about to give up just yet and insists on pursuing other legal matters it has against Apple.

For the rest of us though, it’s just another happy day in iLand.
