“We were your family too.”

This week saw a shocking twist to the Anonymous – Lulzsec love story when the latter’s head, Hector Xavier, or better known as Sabu, was revealed to be working with the FBI. Sabu is being accused of leaking private information, resulting in the arrest of a number of Lulzsec members.

In response, Anonymous hacked website of antivirus maker Panda Security, and quite uncharacteristically, left a touching message for Sabu.

It read: “Yeah yeah, we know, Sabu snitched on us. As usually happens FBI menaced him to take his sons away. We understand, but we were your family too. (Remember what you liked to say?) It’s sad and we can’t imagine how it feels having to look at the mirror each morning and see there the guy who shopped their friends to police.”

In the message, the hacker group also accused Panda Security of co-operating with the FBI and well, making “sh*tty” products.

“LOL HE ASKED FOR THE LULZ!!!! HERE IT IS THE LULZ. Pandasecurity.com, better known for its shitty ANTIVIRUS WE HAVE BACKDOORED, has [been] earning money working with law enforcement to lurk and snitch on anonymous activists… yep we know about you. How does it feel to be the spied one?”
