Looks like four models in a year weren’t enough.
In the last 12 months, Apple has released one tablet- the iPad 2. However, from Apple’s fiercest competitor, we’ve already seen the Samsung Galaxy Tab in a 10.1″ screen, 8.9″ screen, a refreshed version with a 7″ screen and then a 7.7″ screen. Add one more to that list today- the official Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with Google’s latest Ice Cream Sandwich OS that was revealed in an RSS feed by Samsung but was later pulled, as reported by Engadget.
The new 7″ device is supposed to be equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 1024 x 600 LCD. Besides that, you’ll find a 3 MP camera on the back, a VGA one on the front, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as HSPA+ connectivity. No word on pricing or availability, or even it’s authenticity.
