Although no word on the actual announcement date.
For those waiting for information on Samsung’s next flagship phone, Galaxy S III, looks like the wait is going to be a little longer. Wile an official announcement of the phone was expected to be made during the Mobile World Congress 2012 in February, Samsung has recently said that the phone’s announcement is going to be delayed.
Samsung has said in a statement “Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012. The successor to the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product. Samsung stays committed to providing the best possible mobile experiences for customers around the world.”
While there isn’t any concrete information about the phone, reports say that it will run ِAndroid 4.0 out of the box, with a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 12 megapixel camera, and a 1280×720 Super AMOLED Plus HD display.
