Is it based on attractiveness?

A recent study conducted by  NM Incite, a Nielsen McKinsey company, shows why men and women add friends and remove them on Facebook. Turns out the majority of behaviour on Facebook reflects real life.

For instance the overwhelming response from women for why they add someone on Facebook is because they know them in real life (82%); men add because the other person is a mutual friend (60%). On the other hand most women remove friends because of an offensive comment (55%), while most men remove because of someone trying to sell something (39%).

The rest can be looked via the infographic below. So why do you add and remove people on Facebook?

From auditing to editing, I now test and analyze the latest gadgets and games instead of the latest financial statements. Both jobs are equally intense and rewarding. When I'm not burning up hardware in the name of science, you'll find me nuking in DOTA 2 or engineering in TF2.
