More HTML 5 codes. More security. More awesome.

By being just in time for the holiday season, Opera is doling out “a gift that changes everything”… if better HTML 5 engine, faster page loading times and tighter security is your definition of change, that is.

Opera 11.60 is the new version of the popular Internet surfer and brings all the aforementioned goodness into its sleek little package. Here’s the what’s updated:

- Like it? Star it: Add your favorite sites to your Speed Dial by clicking the new Star button.
- You’ve got a new mail… client: Opera’s email client has been redesigned to keep with the company’s featherweight design aesthetic.
- Better compatibility for the Web: Opera includes the new HTML5 parsing algorithm which helps unify code discrepancies among browsers.
- Secure pages, faster: New network code establishes secure connections smarter, thus boosting speed on SSL sites.

If you aren’t convinced of making a jump to a new browser, Opera has listed 10 reasons why should, with one of them being that Justin Beiber doesn’t use it. I guess that’s says a lot for the quality of the browser. Download it here.
