Facebook testing private messaging in Pages

As for now, if you as a user want to communicate with a company through their fan-page, the only way is to write on their wall and wait for their reply whether it’s a negative comment or positive. Soon, Facebook is looking to change that with a feature that it’s testing.

Inside Facebook confirms that the company is testing a new feature that will allow people to send private messages on Pages, which makes it easier for people to privately get in touch with someone rather than make a public wall post. It also allows companies to get the negative feedback privately instead of it being available on their wall. So a pretty nifty feature but of course admins can opt out of it if they want (which is great for official fan-pages of celebrities).

Would you use this?
