William Shatner helps recover from being ‘unfriended’ on Facebook

Acceptance is key.

Many of us have a ridiculously large number of “friends” on our Facebook, which leads to an unnecessary amount of clutter on the main FB Wall. Another disadvantage to having so many “friends” is that our privacy dissolves into open information for anyone to use.

Therefore cleaning up the friends list every once in a while is a healthy thing, an endeavor Jimmy Kimmel popularized on his show. As such, last Thursday was the second annual “Unfriend Day” and apparently a whole lot of people cleaned up their friends list. Of course, there would be many a Facebook user who’d be unfriended and feel…hurt, or at least mildly irritated. This PSA, of sorts, by WIlliam Shatner will liven things up a bit.

From auditing to editing, I now test and analyze the latest gadgets and games instead of the latest financial statements. Both jobs are equally intense and rewarding. When I'm not burning up hardware in the name of science, you'll find me nuking in DOTA 2 or engineering in TF2.
