The wait is over

If you’ve just moved to Windows Phone and miss the convenience of Spotify, then this would be music to your ears. It’s been a long time coming, it has tested the patience of WP users, but now the wait is over and you can download the app from the marketplace. The application is free to download from Marketplace but needs a paid subscription for those who of you actually want to stream music.

The app will allow downloading of playlists and music for offline playback in case you don’t have an active internet connection, and require you to save some data should you be tied to a tight plan. Also this version debuts playlists which can be pinned to the home screen for easy access, something which hasn’t been offered on other platforms.
