Looking for a new Printer/Scanner/Copier for your home or small office?

Canon Pixma MG8240

The Canon Pixma MG8240 is also an ink-jet based printer that is a bit larger in size than the HP Envy 110e. It supports web applications, however, at the moment, there was just one- Picasa. Instead of using a Touchscreen, the Canon Pixma MG8240 relies on buttons below the screen as well as other ones on it’s surface that only light up when needed, giving the device a futuristic look. Where I did find this a bit problematic is when trying to enter the password of our wireless network- because there is no keypad or touchscreen, this process is more complicated than it should be.

On the functionality side, the Pixma MG8240 is pretty loaded offering wired and wireless connectivity, scanning, copying and printing on both sides of the paper. The Canon Pixma MG8240 takes six ink cartridges instead of two found on the HP which will certainly help you save costs on cartridges in the longer run. Also included is a CD tray for printing directly on to optical media while two page feeders will make switching papers easy.
