Also plans version for OSX Lion.

When it comes to office applications, there’s nothing better that the Microsoft Office suite of softwares that the company offers since years now. It’s mainly extremely popular and standard for Windows platform and it also has Mac versions available. Now, looks like Microsoft is planning to bring their suite to the iPad.

The Daily has learned that the company is actively developing tablet versions of their software for the iPad. This is a great move since there are a lot of tablets in the market right now but there’s  nothing bigger than the market share of the iPad itself. Having those users use the Office suite will add to their sales greatly and consumers will definitely opt for Microsoft over anyone else.

And that’s not it. They’re also planning to release a new version of the suite for the OSX Lion. The current version only supports until Snow Leopard. A beta for their Office 2012 edition is widely expected for that operating system soon.

What do you think? Any detractors of Microsoft Office here?
