Is this the first BBX Smartphone?

Codenamed London.

The Verge is reporting what they think could be the first BlackBerry Smartphone based on the upcoming BBX platform.

The design of the device has a bit of a Porsche look that we saw at the P9981 launch in Dubai. From what The Verge is stating, this Smartphone might only see the light of the day in the second half of next year and the image you see is probably not of a real screen but a dummy model.

I must say that it looks pretty slick and RIM should try and get it out sooner if they want to continue being one of the key players in the industry.
