No more surrounding noise.
For years, headset-makers have focused on noise reduction technology avoiding headset users transmitting background noise in their conversations. Going where no Bluetooth mono headset has gone before, Jabra announced today Jabra SUPREME – the first non-stereo headset to incorporate Active Noise Cancellation to block out noisy environments for the user wearing the headset. With the Active Noise Cancellation technology, Jabra SUPREME now also places focus on the user of the headset – enhancing the listening experience dramatically by reducing background noise to the user when wearing it.
Active Noise Cancellation, which has traditionally only been available in high-end noise cancellation stereo headphones, uses one dedicated microphone and an electronic chipset to generate an “anti-noise” sound, removing ambient noise heard by the person wearing the headset. The user will experience the call quality is much clearer. And while Active Noise Cancellation eliminates ambient sound on the caller’s end, Jabra’s latest generation Noise BlackoutTM technology – Noise Blackout 3.0 reduces background noise dramatically that could be transmitted to the person on the other end of the line. These two features combined with new patent-pending Wind-Noise Reduction technology, developed for calls in outdoor, windy conditions, results in the best-sounding conversation possible on both ends, setting it apart from the competition.
“The Jabra SUPREME is truly what the name indicates – a top of the line Bluetooth headset,” said Ahmed Elkalliny, Area Director, Middle East and Africa, Mobile Division. “By offering crystal-clear sound on both ends of the call, users will truly be getting the most out of each and every conversation with this product.”
The Jabra SUPREME is equipped with a 24mm speaker for powerful sound and a patented flipping boom arm that enables users to power on and off by simply flipping the headset open and closed. This advanced design makes for one of the easiest headset carrying solutions on the market. A state-of-the-art adjustable earhook makes the Jabra SUPREME a non-intrusive headset, sitting comfortably on a user’s ear and a selection of ear cushions offers customized comfort.
