Not 3D enough.

Good: Solid build, Bright and crisp screen, Photo button is practical, Smooth video recording
Bad: 3D videos and images have oversaturated colors, Videos don't capture enough detail, Handful of 3D apps pre-installed, No 2D to 3D conversion, Hard to adjust to 3D immediately due to cross-talk
Price: AED 2,799

Another aspect that the EVO 3D excels in is smooth video recording, whether it’s 2D or 3D. On the other hand any type of video recorded on the LG Optimus 3D is jerky, as evidenced from the sample videos below. Of course, all this smoothness comes at the severe cost of low quality videos, with obvious pixilation (notice how the dump truck grooves are pixelated on the EVO 3D’s 2D video, whereas the one from the Optimus 3D is clear).

The other cutback comes in the form of oversaturated colors. Notice the Optimus 3D represents the orange colors of the traffic cones and on the public transport bus closer to real life, as opposed to the reddish touch that comes across in the EVO 3D recording.

It’s a shame that 3D playback on the device as capable as the EVO 3D is smooth, yet the actual content is nowhere near as good as it should be. It’s the same problem with 3D images as well.
