Google Chrome coming to Android?

Google Chrome approaching release on Android, ending the reign of other browsers on mobile hopefully.

I always wondered that why there is no Google Chrome app for android. Yes there is default Android browser, but its no Chrome. But it looks like its only a short while now that Chrome may finally make its debut on Android.

Google’s Chromium OS is the open source project that works as a test bed for many of their technologies as they get ported to Android. And as per its latest logs the Chrome for Android is being tested right now. Right now Androids use a WebKit browser, that uses some of Chrome code but rest is modified by vendors. With Chrome brand you can expect that Google will bring true tabbed browsing, better flash and HTML5 support, fast rendering of pages and hopefully add-on support.

This rumor is based on the Chromium test logs, and not a confirmed announcement from Google yet.
