Thrustmaster’s F1 wheel perfecting the experience.

Thrustmaster is a name synonymous with high quality console and PC racing wheels, and while we’ve been impressed with their offerings in the past, the new F1 wheel really takes the cake.

The new F1 wheel is a full replica of an actual F1 wheel, sans the LED display, but with all the buttons and functinoality. This is as close an experience as you can get to a real F1; the wheel mating perfectly with the new F1 2011 game.

From auditing to editing, I now test and analyze the latest gadgets and games instead of the latest financial statements. Both jobs are equally intense and rewarding. When I'm not burning up hardware in the name of science, you'll find me nuking in DOTA 2 or engineering in TF2.

Show us more of the wheel, the base, the pedals !
Who cares if the wheel turns left and right and the buttons can be pressed. All wheels do that !

I want a steering wheel (and pedals) without resistive potentiometers which ware out too quick. I want it to be designed in such a way that it will last >5yrs instead of the typical 2yrs before it starts jumping and looses accuracy and range.

Sorry for the typo od the wrong “ware” should be “wear”.
