Coming soon to a bank, mall, airport and university near you.

Sharp has always been at the forefront of LCD technology, and at GITEX 2011 they were up there showing off their high-resolution touchscreen display panels. Beautiful (and even useful) as these screens are, they’re designed for industrial usage. As you’ll see from the demonstration below, it is hospitals, banks, educational institutes and other such organizations that use interactive comunication with clients who’ll benefit the most from these displays.

However, Sharp doesn’t just sell the panels by themselves, they’ll work closely with their client to create applications and other software customized for their unique needs. As such, these touchscreen displays aren’t just standalone products, but also include software development and support as well.
