Sony releases an efficient and easy to use video editor for Android platform.

Sony has released a new app on Android market for easy trimming and polishing of videos made from your smartphones. Android has been lacking in good and easy video editor to compete with likes of exclusive apps on iOS like iMovie, Splice or Vimeo app. But this Sony’s Video Trimmer will provide Android users with a good alternate to do video editing without need of a PC first. It even has built-in compression presets based on what size of video would be best for different online platforms.

Sadly this is not a free app, but it is available for all Android 2.1 or higher handsets and not just exclusive to Sony Android handsets. You can grab this app @ Android Market
