HTC is finally going to release a Windows Mobile 7 device running Mango version after around 1 year.
HTC had been one of big producers of Windows Mobile, but its been quite some time that they released a new Windows handset. It is no secret that HTC has become the biggest third party contributor to Android. But with HTC Radar they want to tell the world that they are still not an Android only company. HTC Radar looks very much like HTC Desire S running latest Mango version of WM7.
HTC Radar has a 3.8″ WVGA display, set in an aluminium unibody that comes in grey and white colors. It has a 1 GHz processor with 512 mb RAM. The 5MP camera can record 720p HD video. There is a front camera also for video chatting. You can expect all the software enhancements of Mango working on the device like proper multi-tasking, instant messaging across Live, SMS and facebook platforms. As sexy as the device looks, in the end it will be all about whether you are an Android fan boy or want a Windows platform on your set. HTC will announce the price of device later when it ships HTC Radar in October.
