Apple lawyers stop Samsung from displaying and sales of new Galaxy tablets in Germany.
Apple and Galaxy has been at each others throat for a long time now. Apple has sued Samsung over the infringement of stealing the design and feel of its iDevices for its Galaxy line-up. While Samsung has counter-sued them over their wireless patents. This has put the two companies at war in Australia, Korea, US and Europe. At the recent IFA electronics fair in Germany, Samsung unveiled their chic Galaxy Tab 7.7, but Apple’s lawyers didn’t waste any time in getting a court order to stop the display of product.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 has also been delayed many times in Australia from launch by Apple. With latest court order in Germany, Samsung is not only forced to remove Galaxy Tab 7.7 from display but there is also a temporary ban on sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1. These two tablets are a high priority product for Samsung to be shown to European electronic consumer and Samsung will surly not be happy about it. For now Samsung is following the court decision and has pulled the product from its display but we can be sure that we have not heard the last of this debate.
