Android Ice Cream Sandwich coming in October/November

That sounds…delicious.

Google has been dodging around the release date for its awaited Android update, lovingly called Ice Cream Sandwich. However, speaking at the Dreamforce 2011 conference, CEO Eric Schmidt finally stepped up to the game and announced a solid time frame as to when the update could be expected.

“We have a new operating system, internally known as Ice Cream Sandwich for some reason, which is being released in October/November, which everyone’s really excited about.”
