Will future Windows boot instantly? If this patent is technically true then do expect that.

Microsoft is on fast track for OS development these days. They are streamlining their Windows Phone 7 as well as busy with Windows 8. Microsoft wants to get it out of the door as soon as possible to grab the tablet market before it becomes saturated. All the while they are researching some nice ideas to increase the boot speed of their OS, one of the staunch complaints of Windows OS.

As reported by Engadget, the new patent describes a way to stream data from multiple storage locations to stream an operating system on to a screen almost instantaneously. The method can be applicable to tablets as well as PCs. This seems pretty interesting and of course every windows user would like to see in their OS. Lets hope that this is an intended feature for upcoming Windows 8 as this will definitely be a big selling point.
