CTO, Omar Khan, was responsible for the rise of the Galaxy Tab

The Samsung CTO at the forefront of the rise of the Galaxy Tab as well as Samsung’s other Android-Powered smartphones has announced he will be stepping down from his job at Samsung.
Omar Khan, the former CTO, will now be moving to Citibank to handle their global digital banking initiatives. In his place will be Nick Dicarlo and Gavin Kim who will assume ” Service spokesperson responsibilities for Samsung Mobile” according to mobilecrunch
Evidently, the pressure of pitting the Galaxy Tab against the almighty iPad2 was too much for Khan. That plus intense pressure from lawsuits surrounding alleged copying by Apple would have weighed heavily on his decision.
