We pick seven tablets and decide which one is the best for your hard earned Dirhams
The tablet is the hottest gadget of this year with almost everyone and their grandma wanting one. Apple certainly kickstarted the tablet craze with their wildly successful iPad and even though it holds the commanding position at this time, the number of challengers has certainly grown by quite a bit. We thought we’d take a look at what the market has to offer and find out which tablet is the best to spend your hard earned Dirhams, Dinars and Riyals on.
Thus we gathered seven current-gen tablets that we think are the best to chose from. These seven tablets are, Acer Iconia, Apple iPad 2, ASUS Transformer, BlackBerry PlayBook, HTC Flyer, Motorola Xoom and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Except for the last one, all of the other tablets are already available in the market with the Samsung launching shortly. Four out of these seven tablets are based on Google’s tablet-friendly “Honeycomb” Operating System while HTC chose the older version of Android and both Apple and BlackBerry have their own Operating Systems.
We’ve played with all the tablets extensively- measuring their battery life, performance and features but for this quick round-up, we have presented a short summary of each tablet. However, a link to a more detailed review of each tablet is also included- except the HTC Flyer, that we are currently reviewing.
