While Microsoft and Apple battle for the throne with lawsuits, accusations and patent breaches, the Mac vs PC war is rather funny when it comes to the other side of spectrum – the fanboys. While most of them would resort to creating Internet memes and Lolcat pictures to deface one another, two German fanboys (apparently), however, thought to turn the notch up a little higher.
Apple is currently building a large Apple Store in Hamburg, Germany. However, like most upcoming stores, the public-facing front is boarded up to keep preying eyes away from what’s going inside. Fortunately for the pranksters, and unfortunately for Apple, the boarded up exterior had no signs pointing to an upcoming Apple Store. Seizing the opportunity, the two pranksters, going by the name of .WAV Collective, dressed up as construction workers (complete with a company car), climbed a top the boarded exterior and slapped a Microsoft Windows logo, before casually striding off the premises.
A hilarious tongue-in-cheek prank, no doubt, only made better had they got the logo correct! The logo has since been taken down, but a video continues to live on.
