Blog posts names, addresses and pictures of the members of the hacker group.
So much for the ‘lulz’, we guess. The nefarious hacker group are starring down at the other side of barrel today, as a new blog called LulzSec Exposed has revealed names, addresses, pictures and other private information about the members of the infamous hacker group.
A few names have popped up, such as Kayla, Barret Brown, Joepie, Nakomis, and Taopiary. Of these person, Barret Brown’s Twitter page reveals he is a writer and has written for publications like Al-Jazeera, Huffington Post, Onion, The Guardian, etc. The person called Topiary has admitted to being part of the group via their official Twitter page.
In response, LulzSec has ‘lol’ed’ at the accuracy of the information, and have said that the IRC channel from which the blog has sniffed information from is largely used as a recruitment center by the group.
Herro! Recently some of you may have seen “LulzSec exposed” logs floating around. We’d like the time to say this: LOL. Those logs are primarily from a channel called #pure-elite, which is /not/ the LulzSec core chatting channel. #pure-elite is where we gather potential backup/subcrew research and development battle fleet members, i.e. we were using that channel only to recruit talent for side-operations.”
Of course, the authenticity of the blog is up in the air. But we are hoping something comes out of this if true.
