HTCDev.com launched to promote development on HTC mobile platform.

HTC has launched HTCdev.com to promote development on their OpenSense SDK. HTC states that it will help developers to write applications better integrated into HTC Sense UI. Specifically, HTC notes that devs will be able to access a “Tablet pen API” for the Flyer/View 4G as well as a “Stereoscopic 3D display API” for the EVO 3D.

HTC has already claimed that it is biggest android developer after google itself and HTC Dev will push more android development exclusive to HTC phones. HTCdev.com also promises that HTC will deliver tools, tutorials, blogs, and events for developers in the future for rapid development of apps. As well as a paid service for companies to develop mobile apps for them.
