After Apple’s iMessaging and Blackberry messaging, Google making their own messaging app

Recently Apple iOS 5 announcement included the iMessaging service which is essentially a rival of popular Blackberry messaging service. But now sources are reporting that Google is also working on such a service for Android. These messaging apps basically improve over the default SMS service, by working like a instant messaging service; with ability to attach pictures etc. In future SMS might be completely replaced by such apps.

It is rumored that this service from Google will be just a revamped GTalk application which will integrate into Android phones to be used as native messaging app. We will inform when we have some more details regarding this.
