No release time for the new iPhone yet.
Almost every credible source (if there is such a thing) has hinted that Apple may skip its yearly duties this time around and not release a new iPhone in June or July. Today, according to a MacRumor report, AT&T has been telling its customers the same thing as well, and if true, could be the biggest confirmation of the oft reported rumor.
“Apple has informed us that they do not plan to release the iPhone in the June to July timeframe, though there will be a newer version in the future. Unfortunately, we have not been given a release time for the new phone. We will release this information on our website when it is available to us.”
iPhone 5 is rumored to feature a larger, edge-to-edge display, a carbon fiber body, a teardrop design, 8MP camera, iPad 2’s CPU and GPU power and a lot of other conjured up technology. It looks like we will have to wait till September to find out how true these rumors were.
