At the BlackBerry World today, RIM announced Facebook and Video Chat applications for their BlackBerry PlayBook.  The Facebook app lets you view and add friends, enjoy photo and video viewing, connect using Facebook Chat and View and interact with News Feed- pretty much allowing you do to anything you can do on Facebook on your computer.

The Video Chat lets you do one-click video and voice over Wi-Fi and display a list of your friends using the BBID email address. Expect the press release to follow with additional details.
