iPad 2 survives car roll over

G-Form sleeve put through the ultimate test.

The folks at case maker G-Form have been touting its new “extreme” sleeve for the iPad 2, claiming it to be Superman-strong in protecting Apple’s magical device. They have been filming it as well, putting the iPad 2 through strenuous test like dropping it from a balcony, or smashing it with 12 pound bowling ball. But that’s all camera trickery, right?

Not if you believe the “quick review” performed by the guys over at Mobile Syrup. To see how strong the G-Form sleeve was, they decided to take the test a one step further and directly below the wheels of a car. Yup, they rolled over a $500 gadget to test a $60 product.

Anyway, the results were startling if there was no trickery involved. Not only did the iPad 2 survive the smash, the case also protected it from any sort of visible damage – not even a tiny bit of a crack. Check out the video below to see the test in action.
