Microsoft finally revamps the decade old Windows utility.
Almost every aspect of Windows has changed over the years, right from the desktop layout, icons, themes, hell even the logo and the start button. But one thing has remained constant, and considering it’s a vital part of our daily usage since softwares hangs so much, it’s surprising that Microsoft has been neglecting it completely. And we are talking about the Task manager. Yes, the one that you bring up when your software all of a sudden decides it doesn’t like you any more.
Thankfully, Microsoft has come to its senses and has finally revamped the Task Manager in Windows 8. Details are scarce but from the leaked screenshot, it appears that managing background apps and closing running software will be much more streamlined and simplified.
Windows 8 is expected to release sometime in 2013.
