The Loop, which has a solid reputation for delivering accurate Apple information, is claiming that the Cupertino company will not be releasing iPhone 5 in June at all.
“My sources said today that rumors of an iPhone 5 release at the end of June were completely false,” the blog states on an anonymous tip.
What isn’t clear is if Apple will skip an iPhone launch entirely, or just an iPhone 5 launch? Apple usually delivers an hardware upgrade to every new revision of its mobile product before releasing a new revision once again. Going by those standards, Apple may not have plans for an iPhone 5 at all, rather an spec-ed up iPhone 4GS.
However, other rumors suggest that Apple will be releasing iPhone 5 but in September and will ship with a number of additional features like more internal storage space, a larger screen, 8MP camera, an NFC chip and a metal casing.
