Microsoft showcases Internet Explorer 10 on video

Soon after the release of IE9, Microsoft showcases the new set of features that will be included in the next version of Internet Explorer.

It’s a fast moving world of technology folks; what was released yesterday is already old and stale and ready to be replaced. Okay, that’s a bit far fetched but my point is: Microsoft has released the first platform preview of Internet Explorer 10, making your just acquired installation of Internet Explorer 9 kind of…well, boring.

With Internet Explorer 10, the development team is looking to add “support for even more standards like CSS3 gradients, and grid layouts”, whatever that means. They have also managed to scour up a 4min clip where “Rob Mauceri walks us through some of the new features of IE10 including an example of flowing of content in multi-column layouts.” Again, whatever that means – but it sure does sound cool.

You can grab the platform preview from here, and watch the video here (there is no option to embed it, but at least its available a in variety of formats!).
