Popular video site will now host live streaming content.

Google is rolling out a new service for its popular video hosting site called YouTube Live which will provide users access to live content like events, concerts, interview and more. Currently, the service is in Beta.

“The goal is to provide thousands of partners with the capability to live stream from their channels in the months ahead. In order to ensure a great live stream viewing experience, we’ll roll this offering out incrementally over time.”

As the service is fleshed out, live streamers will be able to interact with each other during broadcasts using YouTube’s comment feature.
