Features extra space, capacitative home screen button.
9to5Mac has posted up leaked pictures of what appears to the next iPod Touch from Apple. The pictures are extremely blurry, like most leaks, but manages to show the two most notable differences in the new model.
If these pictures are true, the iPod Touch could feature a capacitative home screen button, as had been rumored previously. This should come as a welcome change for users finding themselves with a broken home button after some time of use.
The pictures also reveals 128GB of internal storage, which is double to that of the current highest 64GB model. However, as BGR points out, an iOS device with 128GB of storage should display an actual available space of between 115 to 120GB, and not 126.5GB as the images show. However, this could be a test product and may not have the complete operating system on it, hence the extra space.
The authenticity of these pictures can only be confirmed come September when Apple usually unveils the new set of music-related products.
