Some people have all the money…

There is no better business to have than selling Apple products in the first 2 weeks of their launch. Ask the grey market dudes here in UAE, as the eBay users who will them for exuberant prices and ask Amanda Foote, a Manhattan Community College student, who scored a cool $900 just for selling her first spot on the iPad 2 line.

Foote, who was low on cash, struck an idea to camp out at the Fifth Avenue Apple Store after reading about stories with similar ideas for the iPhone 4 launch. After waiting for 41 hours, enduring rain and judgmental looks of people around her, she finally landed her prize deal. Interestingly, the person who she ended up selling her spot to was an app developer named Hazem Sayed who wanted an iPad 2 before setting off on a business trip in the evening of the same day.

In the video below, Foote calls the her 41 hour experience “worth it”. I guess – for $900 I would wait for an additional 41 hours. Just leave me with my iPhone 4 and a charge outlet.
