New iOS update bring minor fixes for the platform.
According to Boy Genius Report, a new iOS update is only a week away. iOS v4.3.1 will range in a number of minor bugfixes for the platform, including the follow:
- A baseband update for the iPhone 3GS and iPad.
- A fix for a memory hang that results in memory corruption when reading large files from USIM filesystem.
- A fix for a problem with NTLM authentication in apps and on websites.
- A fix for an issue with the Springboard and 3rd party apps not recognizing the gyroscope on the iPad 2.
The update is also rumored to fix a security hole in iPad 2, used by hacker Comex to jailbreak the tablet immediately after launch. However, Comex replied to the article saying that “the jailbreak has not been patched”, “please stop asking / spreading this”.
