The highly anticipated internet browser from Microsoft set for March launch.
Microsoft today has confirmed the official launch date for its shiny new browser. Internet Explorer 9 will be released on March 14 9pm PST (that means 9am March 15 UAE time).
The launch will take place as part of their “Beauty of the Web” event on the same day, held at Austin City Limits Live.
The release date marks a year to the day when Microsoft launched the first platform preview of Internet Explorer 9 to developers and public, according to Windows Team Blog.
Internet Explorer 9 will launch amidst serious competition from Google, Opera, and Mozilla, all boasting faster JS performance, unique user interfaces, advance features, and full HTML 5 support. Will Microsoft be able to regain much of its lost glory? Time will tell.
