Swan Song for the LGA 1366

Good: 3/4-way SLI/CrossFire, Great looking heatsinks with LED, Multiple sound adapters, Easy overclock, Great additional Front Panel
Bad: BIGFOOT network card doesn't make much difference, Audio feedback suffers from minor static, No onboard buttons, only 2 SATA III ports
Price: AED 2,200

For testing the G1 Assassin I have used an Intel Core i7 965 EE matched with Kingmax 6GB DDR3 RAM, Zotac GTX 580 AMP! Edition and Kingston V-Series 64GB SSD with Windows 7 Ultimate. Powering the whole system is a Corsair HX1000W PSU.

As you can see the G1 Assassin is no slouch, especially compared to its brethren from the Gigabyte family. Performance in the gaming benchmarks turned out to be better than I expected, pushing the 2 year old 965EE to its limits.
