Customers who bought the iPad 14 days before announcement to get the $100 refunded

Apple Inc., just fresh off their latest launch of the much awaited iPad 2 has announced that it will continue selling first generating iPads but for $100 dollars less than the previous market price (and the price of the latest iteration).

In addition to all those who bought the iPad just prior to the announcement of the new iPad (Why one would do so is baffling) will receive the $100 price difference refunded to them. Cnet has just confirmed this by speaking directly with a customer service representative who said that the refund would be applied to the customers credit card and will span all the various versions of the iPad.

I called up Jarir – hmm as usual no customer rights – all this stuff is only for US for people here – we can sign – Grr… im still paying for the money i spent and its gonna make it all more painful.

I’m afraid you might be out of luck here as the iPad 2 hasn’t been announced officially in the UAE and the price reduction is only for US.
