Emax Express allows customers do their electronics shopping faster.

Groceries are not the only things that are getting the ‘express’ treatment. Emax, the electronics retail giant, has opened up a new ‘Emax Express Counter’ in Bur Dubai that lets you browse and shop for your electronics quicker and faster. The shop is located at Centrepoint in Burjuman.

CEO of Emax, Mr. Neelesh Bhatnagar said “Bur Dubai and Karama are home to a large chunk of our target audience. We started considering our options to get closer to them. An expansion into this area seemed like the best option, and the opening of an Emax store with an Express Counter was even better’.

“Of the electronics market in the region, the UAE is said to be one of the strongest across the MENA region. At Emax, as we look to capture more of the market through expansion, we are also keen on making our current stores a pleasurable shopping experience,” he continued.

Emax now plans to roll out stores in Dalmah Mall, Abu Dhabhi, Dareen Mall in Damma, Sohar in Oman and stores in RAK and Al Ain in 2011.
