The S1420 will retail at AED 599 from April.
BenQ has announced that it will be bringing its “most advanced digital camera”, the S1420, to the Middle East from next month.
The S1420 packs comes equipped with O.I.S (ala Optical Image Stabilizer) that prevents blurring and unwanted ‘shake effect’. The camera sports a 5MP camera, 720p recording capabilities, HDR II image enhancement technology, 5x optical zoom and a 5″ display and a 25mm wide-angle lens for larger group shots.
Along with HDR II image enhancer, the camera also features ‘LOMO effects’ that enables users to add style effects to their pictures such darkened corners, off-kilter exposure and over-saturated colors. Other software side enhancements include Fisheye lens and Color Accent that allows users to choose a specific color to highlight in the image turning the rest of the picture to black and white.
Manish Bakshi, General Manager of BenQ for the Middle East and Africa, said, “BenQ’s expansion of its S-series digital camera lineup with the 14 Megapixels S1420 digital camera highlights our drive to continually enhance our products to adapt to today’s young upwardly mobile customers who are always on the go. The new S1420 is complete with power-packed features which are designed for users to easily upload vibrant, clear images on facebook, twitter and other social networking sites.”
The BenQ S1420 is expected to retail from April 2011 at AED 599.
