The dual-core beast will be available end of March.
Asus today announced that it will be bringing AMD’s insanely powerful graphics card, the HD6990, to the market pretty soon.
The HD6990 features dual-cores that produces 2-way CrossFireX performance by default. The card is also fitted with 4GB of GDDR5 memory with engine clock of 830 MHz (which can be cranked up to 1245 Mhz with some help from Asus’s Voltage Tweak utility). Suffice to say, the card will be able to take-on the most demanding of games and probably shrug it off with a ‘meh’. Spec sheet attached below.
The HD6990 is priced at $699 in the US, so expect a decent premium on that price for the UAE. The card will be available end of March.
