Apple trying to convince music labels to enable users to download purchased music multiple times.

Bloomberg seems to have gotten word that Apple is working with record labels in a bid to make it so that consumers who purchase a track via the iTunes music store will be able to download multiple copies of it.

The hope is that being able to download a single song an unlimited number of times would mean that it would be easier for consumers to backup their songs as well as to have the songs on multiple devices. Apple is said to be in talks with the Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and EMI Group.
