New update brings improved Safari performance, iTunes home sharing and personal hotspot.

As rumored, Apple today released the newest iOS 4.3 update for all of its supported devices. The update packs in a number of stability improvements, better battery management, and the follow features:

- iTunes Home Sharing has received a big update, now allowing you to share your entire iTunes library wirelessly to your iPhone, iPad Touch and iPad. Along with that, AirPlay has received an update as well, with any iDevice now capable of streaming content to your HDTV with Apple TV.

- The much anticipated personal hotspot feature is also included. The hotspot allows up to three WiFi devices to connect to the iDevice, while two slots will be reserved for USB or bluetooth connections.

- Safari also has finally got its share of care, with Apple incorporating a massive JavaScript engine boost. The new Nitro engine is capable of rendering some pages up to 2x faster than iOS 4.2.

- The mute switch toggle can now also be used to lock the device into a particular viewing mode (portrait or landscape).

As usual, the iPhone 3G is not supported in this update.

iOS 4.3 should be available to use worldwide, so plug it away.
