It’s sort of strange to think that Angry Birds is not yet on Facebook – it probably is the most adept game to be featured on the social networking website. But rejoice, fans and fellow gamers, you will no longer have to multi-task between Facebooking and playing Angry Birds on your mobile because the developers are bring the popular iOS game to right your keys. Well, with 75 million downloads under the wings, they better.
Rovio Games has said that Angry Birds will soon be landing on Facebook and it will have new features not seen on any platform.
On Facebook, “there will be completely new aspects to it that just haven’t been experienced in any other platform,” said studio boss Mikael Hed, who confirms that due to the social site’s ‘collaborative nature’, “the pigs will have a more prominent role”.
Angry Birds started out as an iOS game and expanded out to other platforms like Android, Mac, PC, PSN , Wii and Xbox 360 as it gained tremendous success, and proved to be a turnout around for the small development studio who are now considered as a triple-A production team.
