Motorola’s flagship tablet is selling at only 2 units per day.
While there have been murmurs of Motorola Xoom sales doing less than avg., an analyst from investment firm Morgan Keegan & Company has put a potential number on it.
The analyst said that he had spoken with about 80 Verizon Wireless retail locations, and the tablet, as of now, is only selling at a rate of two units per day on avg. on each location. Calculations suggest that only about 300,000 of Xooms will be sold in the quarter if the sales continue to be as slow.
We have yet to get our hands on a Xoom (its yet to come by in this region), general opinion on the device is that while it is a good piece of hardware and technology, there is a lot of room for improvement.
