RTM has already been handed out to OEM partners meaning the final release will be coming to us all on the 22nd of February

Microsoft has just handed the final Release to Manufacturers copies of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 to its OEM partners. This of course means that come this 22nd of February us normal users will be able to download these updates from Microsoft Download Centre or through (the easier) Windows Update.

This isn’t to say of course that some of these wont find their way unofficially onto some, rather ingenious, peer-to-peer platforms. Not that we condone any such activity.

Jus’ saying.
