8 megapixel and Android 2.3 Gingerbread to run on both.

Mobile World Congress is underway and Sony Ericsson is coming out in full force. Other than dropping in a bout of information about the Playstation-powered Xperia Play, the mobile manufacturers have also announced two new Android devices: Xperia Pro and Neo.

The Xperia Pro will feature a full QWERTY sliding keyboard, 8 megapixel EXmor camera sensor, Sony’s mobile Bravia engine for display, HDMI out and Google’s latest mobile OS, Gingerbread 2.3.

Xperia Neo sports similar features as the Pro, with 8 megapixel camera, Bravia display, and Gingerbread 2.3x. Additionally, it is known that it will be powered by a 1Ghz Qualcomm snapdragon processor and pack in a large 4″ display with 854×480 for resolution.

No pricing or availability was mentioned.
